 The following dates are our tentatively scheduled upcoming camps:

Nov 24th-25th, 2012 - RIVER CITY 7v7 COLLEGE SHOWCASE (Fall)

Cost:      $600 early registration/ $675 late registration

DUE TO INSUFFICIENT REGISTRATIONS FOR OUR SPRING BREAK (MARCH 31st- APRIL 1st) COLLEGE SHOWCASE WE ARE POSTPONING THE EVENT AT THIS TIME.

FEBRUARY SHOWCASE AGENDA

Saturday, February 11th
For all participants that signed up for the FULL PACKAGE which includes the workshops/seminars AND the on field practice session on Saturday.

The location of the seminars will be River City Sports Performance (2206 NW Birdsdale Ave, Suite #1, Gresham, OR 97030)

8:30-8:45am - Check-in at seminar location
9:00am         - Seminar:  Understanding NCAA rules, choosing the right school
9:45am         - Break
10:15am       - Seminar:  Creating a player profile, highlight video, and contacting coaches
11:00            - Break
11:10            - Mental training/preparation for sports performance
Noon            - End of seminar/ Lunch Break

AFTERNOON PRACTICE SESSION at David Douglas High School turf field stadium

1pm               - Player report to field and begin getting ready for practice
1:15pm          - Warm ups begin
1:30-2:45pm  - Run through of small-sided games and technical drills for following day
3pm                - Practice session ends

Sunday, February 12th
8:15am           - Players/coaches begin check in
8:45am           - Coaches' Talk with select college coaches
9am                - Warm ups begin
9:20-11:30     - Showcase event
11:30              - Event ends

ANNOUNCEMENT:  All participants of the upcoming College Showcase (Feb 11th-12th) will receive a pass to the Adidas Employee Store located on the campus of Adidas America right here in Portland, OR!!!


Also, on Monday we will release the official seminar agenda with location and times.  This detailed agenda will be located on the website and will be email out to all participants.  Thanks for your patience!

UPDATE: Girls' event postponed, Boys' still on!

At this point we have not received the required amount of female registrants for our February College Showcase.  Therefore, we will be forced to reschedule this event for a later date.  If you have already paid your registration fee you will have the option of receiving a full refund or to have us hold your registration over for the rescheduled event.  We hope to pick a new date in the next few weeks and will be looking at which weekend in March, April, or May that makes the most sense.  We will be seeking suggestions from college coaches and from interested athletes.  Please feel free to send us your suggestions on which weekend you would prefer based on your club soccer season.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  

(Please note:  This does NOT affect the boys' event, which will continue as scheduled!) 

In addition, Clark College has been added to the list of confirmed college for the Boys' Showcase event.

Official Coach Commitments

Now that the Holiday season has finally passed and coaches are getting back in their offices, we have received our first set of official commitments from coaches that will be attending our February Showcase.

Men's Programs
Clark College (NJCAA), Concordia University (NAIA) and Warner Pacific (NAIA).


Keep checking back often as this list will continue to grow.  Here is a list of men's and women's programs that have attended previous events:

Portland State (women's, NCAA DI), University of Portland (men's, NCAA DI), Western Oregon (women's, NCAA DII), Willamette (men's and women's, NCAA DIII), Linfield (women's, NCAA DIII), Pacific (women's, NCAA DIII), Warner Pacific (men's and women's, NAIA), Clackamas Comm. College (women's, NJCAA), and Clark College (men's, NJCAA).

(Please note that we do not announce the tentative commitments we receive from coaches to ensure no one feels misled if that coach's plans change.  We wait until they make their final decision.)
