Christopher Cramer - Program Director

Program Director Christopher Cramer has a BS in Exercise Science from Western Oregon University, over 2 years coaching experience coaching college-aged athletes, and many years as a competitive athlete. He is also an ACE-certified Personal Trainer, and has specialized in the areas of injury prevention and sport performance.

Christopher is currently Head Coach of the Boy's Varsity soccer program at Columbia High School.  In his first season at the helm he led CHS to a record-breaking 20 wins, 3 losses in a season where the team scored 115 goals, allowed just 21, and was crowned Co-Champions of the Trico League.  The team made it to the finals of the WIAA state playoffs and finished 2nd.  7 of his players were recognized in First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention All-League honors.

In addition, Christopher was named WSSCA's 2010-11 All-State Coach of the Year, while 4 of his players were named First Team All-State, one of which also earned the honor of being voted All-State MVP.

Prior to coaching at CHS, Christopher was Assistant Coach at Western Oregon University for their Women's soccer program.  At WOU Christopher was in charge of the team's strength and conditioning program and was recruiting coordinator, in addition to his general soccer responsibilities during the season.

He hold a USSF "D" coaching license.


Alex Salisbury - Associate Director

Alex is a co-owner of River City Sports Development LLC and an experienced soccer player himself.  He began playing youth soccer in the Lake Oswego area before moving to a small town in the Columbia River Gorge.  With limited soccer playing opportunities Alex focused on being a multi-sport athlete, which included being a consistent starter and key player for the then newly formed CHS Bruin soccer team.  He did enough in his High School career to earn a spot on a college roster.

Alex began his College career at Southern Virgina University (NAIA) under coach Paul Wright, who won a National Championship with Clemson University and was a member of Arsenal of the EPL.  At SVU Alex contributed to a 3rd place finish in the national tournament where he also received "Man of the Match" honors in the final game of the tournament.  Alex then took 3 years off to do missionary work for his church before returning to college soccer at George Fox University (NCAA D3) where he finished his college career and earned his bachelor's degree.

Daniel Day - Associate Director

Prior to joining River City, Dan spent the 2010-2011 season working as Goalkeeper Coach for the Western Oregon University Women's Soccer program. Dan brings a youthful exuberance and progressive approach to training.  During his stint at Western Oregon Dan was involved in various elements of the recruiting process.

After his stint at WOU Dan spent several months working with goalkeepers at College ID Camps (College Showcases) and working with College Prep programs for High School-aged athletes.

Dan is currently an Assistant Coach at Columbia High School and helped the team's defense post a record 12 shutouts in a season where his goalkeepers earned a .91 goal against average. 

Prior to moving to America, Dan was a successful goalkeeper at the semi-pro level in England.

He holds a USSF "E" coaching license.

Brittney Rigtrup- Goalkeeper Coach (women's programs)

Brittney brings a wealth of experience to the River City coaching staff.  Growing up in the Seattle area of Washington, Brittney excelled in High School and club soccer.  Her goalkeeper coach during the club season was Tom Dutra, now Goalkeeper Coach of the Seattle Sounders (MLS).  

Highly recruited, Brittney choose to start her college career at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY (NCAA D1) before transferring to Western Oregon University (NCAA D2) in an effort to be closer to home.  At WOU Brittney was a constant contributer and was a first choice keeper in her final 2 seasons.  She received All-academic team and Player of the Week honors on several occasions.


During her junior season, Brittney was coached by River City directors Christopher Cramer and Daniel Day.

Rick Fletcher - Logistics Coordinator

Ricky has worked extensively with directors Christopher Cramer and Daniel Day during their tenure at WOU where the 3 men coached and played for the WOU Men's Soccer Club.  


He contributes to River City events with his invaluable behind the scenes work that makes sure each event runs smoothly and efficiently.
